The Ending

Use your imagination and write a different ending for your book. Write 100-120 words to describe it.
Aunt Mary lifted the glass with the poisoned juice to her lips. Hilary suddenly caught her hand and told her that she should not drink it. Then he confessed that he had serious financial problems and he badly needed the money. He knew that as the only relative, and since her old will was invalid, he was the sole beneficiary. So he decided to kill her. But now he realized that he made a terrible mistake and he understood that there were things that were more important than money.

Aunt Mary seemed to be very calm. She told Hilary that she was tired and she didn't want to live any more. However, she knew that Hilary intended to kill her, and knowing that he changed his mind, would make her death painless and peaceful. Then, she closed her eyes and never opened them again.
Five minutes later, Mr. Blenkinsop, the aunt's lawyer, came to the house with three policemen. They found Hilary sitting near his late aunt's bed and the poisoned glass. They arrested him and he was charged with his aunt's murder.

  1. I think I corrected this as your book report but OK! A death is never enjoyful! Peaceful maybe would be a better choice of words!
