Dear Guy,
Thanks for the reflection but you contradict yourself. You like the other way better but you think this way is better. Your blog is good. You did all the assignments. Your English needs to be checked. Here there is spell check and maybe grammar check wouldn't hurt. You chose a strange book even if the main character did fess up before the aunt died.
Nice job.
Your final grade is 82.
Yours,

Reflection
This is the last assignment.Did you enjoy this way of doing a book report?Do you prefer it to the regular way?Was it worthwhile to spend so many lessons on it?Did you learn anything from these assignments?Do you suggest we continue with this type of learning?Any other comments you would like to add that might be helpful for next year. All the assignments will be checked over Shevuot. You will receive your final grade as a post on your blog.Yours,Karen.
I did enjoy doing the assignments on the blog. I think i learned alot about my book.
Yes i prefer the regular way because its much more easy to finish it because you finish it in one time and in the blog it takes too much time. Yes i think it worthwhile to spend so many lessons because it helps you understing the book. I suggest we will continue with this type of learning because it fun and good for brain.

Enter the book
Pretend that you are going to join the characters in the story. What things will you need to pack? Explain why you chose them. Think carefully, for you will be there for a week, and there is no going back home to get something!
The story describes the life of two main characters, an old aunt and her nephew. The aunt was poisoned at the end of the story by her nephew, so the only character I can join is the nephew.
Unfortunately, the nephew lost all his money and due to his aunt's death, he lost his apartment as well. The aunt left nothing to him under her will, so I guess I have two options: I can invite him over to my house or I can pack a suitcase full of food and clothing and live in the street together with him.

Diary
Write a diary that one of the story's main characters might have kept before, during, or after the book's events. Remember that the character's thoughts and feelings are very important in a diary. [At least three entries]
Saturday, 0700 am
I am sitting under the tree in the park. I had a terrible night and I hardly slept. I am freezing and starving. I guess i got what I deserved. Last Wednesday I was thrown out of my apartment since i couldn't pay the rent. I tried to call my late aunt's lawyer but he told me there was no way he could help me because my aunt left nothing to me. I have to get some sleep. I am so tired.
Saturday 1400 pm
I just woke up. It was the first time i had a decent rest since Thursday. I feel that i am in a middle of a nightmare but unfortunately, it is the reality. My aunt died last month and as i suspected, she left me nothing since she suspected i had a share in her death. Honestly, i can't blame her.
Sunday 1100 am
I had no food since Friday morning, and i guess that if i want to eat something, i will have to steal it. Maybe the best solution for me is to go to the police and to tell them everything. Then, i shall end up in jail but at least i shall get some food.

PLEASE make adjustments
Guy - I do believe I wrote in my comments that I expect you to fix what you have posted. You may use your book report but ONLY if you use the right parts in the right places. It is now up to you! Karen

The Ending
Use your imagination and write a different ending for your book. Write 100-120 words to describe it.
Aunt Mary lifted the glass with the poisoned juice to her lips. Hilary suddenly caught her hand and told her that she should not drink it. Then he confessed that he had serious financial problems and he badly needed the money. He knew that as the only relative, and since her old will was invalid, he was the sole beneficiary. So he decided to kill her. But now he realized that he made a terrible mistake and he understood that there were things that were more important than money.
Aunt Mary seemed to be very calm. She told Hilary that she was tired and she didn't want to live any more. However, she knew that Hilary intended to kill her, and knowing that he changed his mind, would make her death painless and peaceful. Then, she closed her eyes and never opened them again.
Five minutes later, Mr. Blenkinsop, the aunt's lawyer, came to the house with three policemen. They found Hilary sitting near his late aunt's bed and the poisoned glass. They arrested him and he was charged with his aunt's murder.
